Beach park and leisure homes

The popular Tarragon from Homeseeker is a real head-turner

When you think of a leisure lodge you usually think of a rectangular building between 12 and 20 feet wide and of varying lengths. Nothing wrong with that. Yet Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes broke this rule and came up with the startlingly perfect Tarragon leisure home that represents their most popular model ever.

The Exterior

What makes the Tarragon different is obvious when you come across one of the many to be found in parks around the country. As you approach this attractive model, you are immediately struck by the angled front end where double French doors open off the living area and the full-sized ‘Oriel’ windows offer splendid, angled, views of the surrounding parkland.

These ‘Oriel’ bay windows not only contribute to an extremely pleasing and interesting shape, but they also create an incredibly light and bright interior.

There is a further angled window along the entrance side of the Tarragon where yet more windows let in a generous amount of light.

This side also contains the entrance door and windows to the master bedroom and bedroom two. Having the living spaces ranged along one side is an intelligent layout that has been designed for those who want to make the most of the views offered by their plot.

The whole exterior can be clad in any of the huge range of exterior finishes offered by Homeseeker (subject to park approval) including durable wood-effect Canexel and extra thick, real wood, log cladding.

Living area and kitchen

Almost half of the interior is given over to the living area which is approached from the entrance hall and comprises a spacious, full-width living/dining area incorporating an open-plan kitchen. The lounge/dining area features two comfortable sofas and coffee table plus a dining table and four chairs – all presented in stylish gentle colours. An electric flame-effect fire adds a warm glow to the lounge area.
The kitchen, meanwhile, is fully-equipped with built-in appliances and is separated from the living area by a convenient elbow-shaped breakfast bar for friendly communal living.

Sleeping area

Opposite the living area from the entrance hall are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom with en suite and generous walk-in wardrobe takes up the full width of the Tarragon making it as spacious and comfortable as many homes.

The second bedroom is not much smaller and features a large wardrobe and twin beds with separate bedside cabinets.

The third bedroom across the hallway is a single (or a study, depending on your preferences) with bedside cabinet and wardrobe.

Bathrooms

The main bathroom is off the hallway opposite the second bedroom and is fitted with a full length bath with walnut surround together with a stylish matching hand basin and toilet. The defining characteristic of this, and the en suite with shower unit, is the fashionable tile-effect floor and full height wall tiles.

Value for money

The Tarragon has maintained the same price for the last four years so will represent great value for money for those who want it all, in a spacious and attractive design format.

As with all Homeseeker models, the Tarragon comes with the company’s ‘Signature’ specification. This means it offers a huge list of luxury features within the price as standard. So the décor can be chosen from a very appealing selection of colour schemes to suit any taste while all the rooms are fitted with top name appliances and furnishing.

Further touches add to the air of quality too, such as radiators in every room, hand-painted deep skirting boards and architraves, luxury shower enclosures, tall ladder towel radiators in bathroom and en suite, polished chrome electric switches, feature wallpaper throughout and fully-fitted carpet and underlay.

The Tarragon comes in 20 and 22ft widths with a choice of lengths ranging from 36 up to 65ft. You can also have a two or three bedroom version depending whether you want a study/utility room or a third bedroom.

All in all, the Tarragon is a real head-turner on any park and guarantees to deliver luxury and comfort on every level for a very attractive price.

Energy-saving park options

With a Homeseeker park home you can benefit from a range of further optional money and energy-saving features offered by some parks that will not only help save the environment but also the money in your pocket! These features include:

Rainwater harvesting

A water-butt system that collects rainwater from your roof for 101 uses such as watering the garden, washing your windows and car or giving your dog a drink.

Grey water system

A plumbed-in systems that recycles water from your shower and hand basins for use by your toilet flush system.

Ground source heating

In the right location this eco-friendly system utilises renewable energy stored in the ground to provide one of the most energy-efficient ways of heating your Homeseeker park home. The only energy used by ground source heating systems is electricity to power the pumps which nevertheless deliver three or four times more thermal energy (heat) than is used in electrical energy to drive the system.
