Internal & Structural Homes Specifications

Chassis

All our homes are welded construction, rolled steel channel using 175mm x 50mm main longitudinal beams with 175mm x 50mm cross members and 95mm x 44mm end bearers. Axle beam welded to main beams. Axle stands are provided for correct siting.

Floor

Cavity floor construction consisting of 18mm moisture-resistant floor-grade boarding on 120mm x 32mm timber joists at 400mm centres. Insulated with 80mm fibreglass matt. Cavity completed with oil tempered hardboard sheathing. Complete assembly bolted to chassis.

Exterior & Interior Walls

The finish of our homes is synthetic resin-bonded aggregate applied to 9mm waterproof bonded exterior grade plywood with primer coat which is nailed and bonded to framework. Scrim taped joints. Good quality 72mm framework with half-lapped joints.

Windows & Doors

Our homes have PVCu double-glazed windows and doors with energy efficient glass are standard to all homes. PVCu frames require no painting. Various styles are available.

Electrical Installation

Complies with current IEE regulations. Ring mains feeding 13 amp power points with separate feed to lighting and auxiliary circuits. All circuits wired for 230/250 volts AC single phase, 50 cycle mains supply. Power distribution via 100 amp consumer unit and earth leakage trip fitted at mains input.

Plumbing & Central Heating

Bath, washbasin and WC in bathroom and en-suite (if fitted). Kitchen fitted with sink/drainer and taps. Hot and cold water is supplied directly from mains, through combi-boiler system. Gas central heating is standard to all models using combi condensing boiler. Oil and electric heating systems are available at extra cost.

Roof

Prefabricated roof joists located at 600mm centres with 12.5mm plasterboard ceiling panels screwed and bonded to joists finished with paper and painted in matt emulsion. All roofs are externally finished with galvanised steel coated, soundproofed tiles with roofing felt underneath 210mm fibreglass matt laid in roof cavity.
