Homeseeker introduces new Area Sales Manager (London and the SE)

Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes, the leading UK manufacturer of luxurious and affordable park homes and leisure lodges, has announced the appointment of its new area sales manager for London and the South East; Todd Misselbrook.

Todd steps into the role left by Steve Taylor who has moved into the National Sales Manager role at Homeseeker. The new appointment brings the Homeseeker sales team up to full strength with three other area sales managers in south west England and Wales (Martin Clifton), the Midlands (Tony Reedman) and Scotland and north England (John McBey).

"I am extremely happy and proud to pick up the reins from Steve and am looking forward to introducing myself to the park owners and managers in my region," Todd said. "Homeseeker has a fabulous, ever-expanding range of new models which are proving a great success right across the park home and leisure lodge sectors."

Todd has long experience in sales with a ten year tenure at global office supplies company, Lyreco Ltd, where he managed and motivated the company's UK sales team.

"Sales is all about interaction and communication," Todd said. "So my top priority is visiting the parks throughout my region and introducing them to the Homeseeker range."

Conscious that it will take quite some time to get around to visiting over 400 parks in his region, Todd has enlisted the help of an introductory mailer to park managers and owners with all his contact details (Mob: ). He is keen to assure them that he is always available for advice and support with end-user customers and is backed by a professional sales support operation at Homeseeker's Rushden sales centre. This experienced and knowledgeable team can supply all the technical and pricing information they may require.

"We now have our entire model line-up available to view at our Rushden show village," Todd continued. "That includes our affordable Affinity, the spacious Kingston, the best-selling Acclaim and the stylish Sofia park homes as well as our versatile Olympia leisure lodge and the outstanding new Scandinavian-style Contemporary, built at our Rushden factory for Finnish Log Homes."

Todd added that the popular wood-clad Tarragon leisure lodge is available to view off-site at a customer park and interested parties can contact him for details.

"The Rushden show village is a great resource where customers can wander around at leisure and see for themselves the fabulous décor, fittings and features of each and every model," Todd continued.

They can chat to our sales people who will assist with every aspect of park living, such as the right specification, size and layout to suit their lifestyle and their budget and even help find the park location of their dreams."

To further support park owners and managers throughout his region and, indeed, the UK, Todd announced that the 2012 Homeseeker range brochure is now available so customers can see at a glance the huge choice of features & fittings, layouts and décor options on offer.

"I will be leaving this with park owners and managers as I meet them but in the meantime, anyone is free to contact me and request copies," Todd added.

With the summer season drawing to a close, Todd has been busy helping organise the Homeseeker stand at the Boat Show in his home town of Southampton where they will be exhibiting the Scandinavian-style 'Contemporary' leisure lodge in September.

Todd is married to Sara and has two boys, 10 year old Brandon and six year old Callum. A keen 'Saints' supporter, he is looking forward to the club's first premiership season this year since the club's relegation in 2005.

Energy-saving park options

With a Homeseeker park home you can benefit from a range of further optional money and energy-saving features offered by some parks that will not only help save the environment but also the money in your pocket! These features include:

Rainwater harvesting

A water-butt system that collects rainwater from your roof for 101 uses such as watering the garden, washing your windows and car or giving your dog a drink.

Grey water system

A plumbed-in systems that recycles water from your shower and hand basins for use by your toilet flush system.

Ground source heating

In the right location this eco-friendly system utilises renewable energy stored in the ground to provide one of the most energy-efficient ways of heating your Homeseeker park home. The only energy used by ground source heating systems is electricity to power the pumps which nevertheless deliver three or four times more thermal energy (heat) than is used in electrical energy to drive the system.
